It should if it's a DirectX plugin. I know for certain that Sonic Engineering's DirectX version of PanHandler works. Mind you, Vegas 4's own surround panner looks pretty good!

If I understand this correctly nearly all surround plug-ins (directX) are pro-logic and can therefore be encoded in a stereo signal.

If you want 5.1/AC3/Dolby Digital surround you will need either DVDA/AC3 encoder option for Vegas.

You would probably be best served by posting this to the vegas audio forum.

i found out that i need a vst>dx adapter in order to run vst plugin in vegas.
