SVCD question (newbie)

I made a VCD right from the timeline. Hit Tools-->Burn CD-->Video CD, and rendered as an MPEG-1 format. Well, the quality is not as good as a VCD I made with VF, and the audio/video was off by about a 1/2 second. The burn speed was set to max. The CD-RW disks are a different brand than I have used before (if that matters). BTW, I printed back to tape in my camcorder and it was perfect.

Take your rendered file from VV into your authoring/burning application of choice, for example Ulead DVD Movie Factory, Nero, etc., and make your SVCD there.
