SVCD to VCD?

I have a SVCD I would like to convert to a VCD because my dvd player does not play SVCDs.

Any idea how I can do this?

I guess it would depend upon how important this material is, but you would changing from MPEG2 to MPEG1. I can't imagine it would be pretty.

I believe TMPGEnc will do this.
