I feel I must be doing something stupid with my camera but dont know what, (HDR FX7e) because SVMS wont recognise it, ( I did have a problem with windows a while back and had to retreat to earlier saved setup) but Windows 7 64 bit still does recognise it though, I can even see it named under devices, I can also control the camera and download files to my computer albeit transcribed to AVI, with a windows live photo gallery! All movie shot in HD mode, iLink conversion is off.
When I try capture with SVMS and click HDV it says "device not available", and under preferences it just lists "IEE1394/MPEG2-TS Device" which is ticked but no go.
Any ideas anyone?
