SVP13 no longer recognizes my Panasonic mts files

my camera: Panasonic AG-160

Since installing Sony Vegas Pro 13 (currently running the latest version), VP13 does not recognize clips on my SD card. I have tried copying the file structure to a HDD but still joy. I start my VP 12, pop my card into the card reader and viola! there are my files. I can import them and even my long running 4Gb "chopped" files are "stitched" together nicely with no sound cuts.
So now I have been using VP12 to import my media, close VP12, and then editing in VP13.

My noob avchd Question:
Did I miss something in the release notes where these mts files, or folder structure built on the card, are no longer recognized with 13? Or am I just doing some thing wrong here?

I am posting this in a hurry from work right now so I am sorry for any details that I may have left out.

I don't know about your problem exactly. But what has always worked for me is to move the MTS files from the memory card to my hard disk, and then just drag them onto the Vegas timeline.

If the files are spanned across the 4 GB boundary, I join them into one big file:

copy /b file1.mts + file2.mts output.mts

I haven't heard of that until now. I will go back and try it on a few clips I have. I too have been just dragging the mts files from the card to my HDD and going with it. If your suggestion works then Kudos to you, and I sincerely appreciate the help.

So when I output the two files as one, I shouldn't see any of the sound sync issues at the area of where the two files unite?

EDIT: Tried tonight. Looks to create a perfectly seamless join of the two files.

Thank You, Thank You balazer
