SWF in vegas 9 weird scale

I've been happily using flash (SWF) in the timeline in Vegas since version 6 for titles and other animation.

I've now noticed in Vegas Pro 9 SWF files are reduced in size (within the frame). They appear to be about a quarter of the size of their true pixel size.

For example I often render video at 1024 x 576 sq. pixel for use in powerpoint etc. In previous versions of Vegas (inc. v8) I've produced Flash SWF to the same size and brought this in seemlessly to the Vegas timeline.

I've noticed this only seems to affect the preview window in Vegas - they appear to render correctly at full size.

Anyone got any ideas what's going on?

Thanks

Do you by any chance have the preview window set to Quarter ?

The SWF decoder may take that setting a little too seriously.

No - I have tried all different settings for the preview and the problem persists.

Interestingly - the tiny thumbnails made for the SWF in the timeline also show the reduced scale - so I think something has changed in the SWF decoder from v8 to v9...

When look at the SWF in Event Pan & Crop - it shows the correct scale

As soon as I render - the SWF scales correctly...
