Swish - Character gen and effects

Hi folks...
I have been using a product called SWISH for text and object antimation with Flash. The program is time-line based, frame rate can be set, as can dimensions. The finished file can be saved in Swish format or exported as a Flash or avi file. The only problem I have had trying to use it in video is there is no minute/second indicator. (I've tried using the number of frames indicated and doing the math, but it never seems to work out exactly.

At any rate, I've had some success with the program and wondered if anyone else has tried it.

BTW, I'm not endorsing or promoting this product, don't own any part of the company, and don't work for them...

Thanks - David Bird

Swish is an excellent titling option. There is a demo of the professional version of Swish on the Editing Workshop DVD. I don't get anything from Swish, free or otherwise, I just happen to really like their software.

Ditto.
As far as matching the times, Just get it to within a second of what you need and than CTRL_Drag to stretch or shrink a bit as needed in Vegas.

Yes, I use Swish for some years now. Like it much. Exporting to a Flash-file Vegas 5 can use the alpha-channel info of the file. Perfect for text and simple animations.

Been dabbling with Swish ( primarily as a Flash web tool for creating promos for groups I belong to ) for a couple of years. Works great.

Some samples of projects I created are at www.Announcing.biz/present
