Hello All,

I am currently using Nero to author my DVD's. Everything is pretty stable and reliable. I hate to rock the boat when all is working well. But I am seriously considering switching to DVDA. Is DVDA a stable and reliable software? Do you all reccomenr it? I currently use Vegas 5. Is Vegas 7 comming soon (should I wait) or should I upgrade to Vegas 6+DVD now?

This was just asked, and answered, in this forum a few days ago. Here's the link:

DVDA 2 vs. 3?

It's been stable and reliable for me -- in about two years or so of using it, I think it crashed on me once. Others have had a difference experience, though -- it can depend on the hardware you have. In particular, DVDA used to have pretty bad support for DVD burners, but it's gotten much better. Even with that problem, though, it's not hard to simply author your DVD with DVDA (since I'm pretty sure Nero's authoring features aren't yet up to par with DVDA) and burn the prepared files to disc with something else.

Download the trial and test it out.

As for Vegas 7, that's a good question. New versions have been released, in the last couple years at least, during a broadcasting convention called NAB. I''m pretty sure NAB is coming up shortly, but I've not heard any rumbling about Vegas 7 being released. But then, I haven't frequented the Vegas board much lately... Anyone? Anyone?
