Sync

I'm using Vegas 4 and have a question about the video/audio sync. I ungroup all imported media, as it's more practical to adjust the individual audio and video tracks independant of eachother. This works great, but soemtines after I finish a show and review it, i've notced that occasioanlly I must have "bumped" an audio or video clip at some point, causig the sync for that section to be disrupted.

Is there a way or an option that will give me notification when audio and video is out of sync? I know that you would get a numerical representaion of the sync frames in older versions of Avid, so I figured some kind of similar notification would be available in Vegas 4

Thanks,

Poly

No. Nothing that gives you notice of them being out of sync. You can always drop events back in the Trimmer or run a script to resync, but that's about it. Would be a nice feature if you could turn on/off a frame indicator in the audio channel as well, but I'm not certain that the audio in a DV stream contains the frame information since it's not locked audio.
