Sync FX animation with timeline cursor

So I've been using Vegas since ver 5 and have never figured out how to sync the cursor in the animate box on an FX with the cursor on the timeline. I want to preview the FX in the preview window while I am adding keyframes. Is there a way to make the cursor on the timeline move in sync with what I am doing in the animate window of an FX?

Just click on the 'sync cursor' button! You'll find this to the left of your keyframe buttons.

Thank you Arthur! Well I guess I am what you would call a slow learner since I've been wondering about this since Vegas 5 :-(

We're all still learning Peter.....I doubt I'll ever get to know everything there is to know about Vegas. There always seems to be yet another little tip on here. :-)
