So, for the first time since I've V11 was released, I finally found a good use for the sync link. I have a template 3rd that I use and have it grouped and split, so I can just adjust the length of 3rd for various amounts of information.
Normally I have to operate with 2 groups, the end animation is separate for once the text comes off so that it can be lengthened to suit the text. This means that I always have to make sure to grab the end when I'm moving both parts. Well, finally I was able to create a sync link between the end animations and the beginning plus static portions, so I can now group all the pieces together, but when I grab and move the ends around, they move independently of the beginning and static parts, so I can adjust those to the proper length, and then just slide the ends on to that, but if I grab the whole thing, the entire group moves as one (note that you have to create the sync link in the right direction for it to work this way). Would rather have an ignore event grouping keystroke while held down, but for now, this is actually useful, so incase you've been looking for a way to make sync links useful, this may work for you as well.
