Sync Problem in rendered Video

Hi,

I recently upgraded my PC and went from VMS4 to Platinum 6.
Most of the work I do are multimedia presentations, rendered now to 1024x768 MPG files.
While they play fine on most of my older PCs WIn 98, sound and video are not synchronized on the newer (3 GHz dual core or 2.8 GHz) machines with MediaPlayer 10 under XP or XP media edition

The video seems to be ahead of sound, sometimes, but not all the time.

All is fine (no synch issues) in preview within Vegas

Can anyone possibly recommend a more suited media player (preferably with command line interface)?

Try Videolan. Get it here http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and it's free.

Hi hal9001,

thanks for the link - this works great, exactly what I was looking for.
I tried MediaPlayerClassic, but it would be skipping with the larger video size.
