Synchronize Audio Issues with Vegas Pro 22

marc-h wrote on 11/13/2024, 8:16 PM

I'm trying to synchronize some 1920x1080 GoPro Video files using the Audio and Multi-Camera synchronization. I make sure the target file has room to move (to the left) click on synchronization and it "rarely" succeeds. It will move the target file but will not align the audio. I even try to help it by aligning the files manually, but it just moves them the tracks further away... Since I often used multiple cameras, this was a big reason I upgraded to version 22 and this performance leaves me disappointed. Any help would be appreciated. - Marc

@marc-h I don't think there's a particular fix with the settings but if you wanted to make the project and media available to the developers that could help speed progress in improving how VEGAS works.

Well worth the money, but there is an investment of time in your learning curve.

I should clarify, this functionality will work on short clips... it's when I try to do the longer ones, I don't get the expected results. Hardware is in my profille (it's not the problem).

If you can't help us replicate it there's not much more to say.

You could try other tools like the one Mark Y recommends or https://github.com/protyposis/AudioAlign and check back to see if the native tool improves.

Nobody asked about your hardware.
