synchronizing CD audio w/24p video

I'm working on a project in Vegas where I'm trying to sync the video I shot in Panasonics 24p of a live show with a seperate CD audio recording of the show. I just can't seem to get the two to match exactly because I can only move the audio frame by frame like the video, I need a smaler increment for the audio. There must be something simple I'm missing.

Turn off "Quantize to Frames" and see if that helps.

Just remember to turn it back ON whne you're done with the audio!

What about this - I use a VJ app for live stuff and the app has a nice feature to record your video mixing as you mix. It writes an .avi file on the fly. The problem is that it writes it at 15fps. I tried to take the output .avi file and bring it into Vegas to match it with the song I was mixing to and it just wan't going to happen. I tried changing the project setting to 15fps but nothing seemed to work.

Do you think the Quantize to Frames function being turned off will help this?
