synchronizing CD audio w/24p video

I'm working on a project in Vegas where I'm trying to sync the video I shot in Panasonics 24p of a live show with a seperate CD audio recording of the show. I just can't seem to get the two to match exactly because I can only move the audio frame by frame like the video, I need a smaler increment for the audio. There must be something simple I'm missing.

you can move the audio by samples if you zoom in deeply enough. Turn off Quantize to frames, that's the first thing you're going to want to do.
in terms of the CD, is the musical selection the same length as the video? You may need to shrink the audio, but you shouldn't have to, not if the audio was captured at the same time.

Thank you, turning off Quantize frames worked, I then just zoomed in and matched them up.
THANK YOU!

Glad it worked out. Love to see a stream of it all sometime?!

Maybe sometime soon. Its for a live DVD of a three piece rock band called Tia Carrera from Austin, TX. We might post some stuff on their labels site in the future www.pervertedson.com. The projects gonna be a hold in a few weeks because I'm heading out on the road to make a documentary with another band on the label Gorch Fock.
