sysex transport in 5b... little help please

how do we configure transport functions?

I have a show control software program that will send sysex commands, what values do I need to send to get Vegas to respond. ie what sysex commands opperate the Vegas transport?

This was a mistake, sorry.

The Generic Surface Control device driver supports the Simple MIDI Machine Control (MMC) Transport command set.

Thanks for the clarification. My prog also sends mmc commands, so I have it working now. Cheers.

PS is there anyway to use MMC locate commands to shunt the Vegas cursor to exact locations on the time line?

No. The MMC positional commands are not part of the Simple MMC transport functionality.
