System low memory/uninstillation error

I can't open sony vegas anymore! Everytime I attempt to I see a symstem low memory error and that supposedly I can close other programs to free up memory to run it however I don't have any other programs running. I've tried a few other simple fixes that were suggested in a previous thread about this same topic by another person but to no avail. So I figured I would just unistall vegas and then reinstall it! I can't even do this! It tells me there is an enternal error and then it comes up with a fatal error during instillation Any help on this subject would be highly appreciated....

I doubt your problem has much to to do with vegas. I would say it is time to go over your computer with a fine tooth comb and clean it up, get rid of stuff you don't use or need, do a spyware sweep, check disc, defrag, system check, resource check, BEFORE you attempt a reinstall. There is always the possiblility that the software - did you download it? - may be corrupt and you may need to do a fresh download from sony before you make another attempt. make sure all your drivers and software is up to date before you install.
