Tab index and keyboard events (app extensions)

Has anyone had any problems utilizing the tab index to tab between controls in an application extension? I haven't had any luck, so I figured I would create a keyboard event, and manually switch between the controls, but I can't utilize keyboard events either (vegas listens to keyboard events, not the application extension). I wonder if there's any other way of going about this.

I could not get tabbing between controls to work either for command extensions. Not only does this not work, but it doesn't work in Media Manager either! (try it and see) So something is definitely wrong with the way Vegas handles docked windows and not just for extensions.

It seems like it works for some windows, but not others. Tabbing works fine in Explorer, Transitions, Video FX, and even the Mixer. Whether these are docked or are detached, tabbing in these native Vegas windows works as it should. You can tab on these windows depending on whether the window has focus or not (like it should!).

Well it seems like this is a legitimate bug, and not just my ignorance. That's unfortunate - tabbing is very convenient to my workflow.
