Using Word 2013 I just right click the image, choose "Save as picture", give it a name and pick my desired format (png, jpg, gif, tif or bmp).

Thanks Mike,
I have Word 2007, don't see that capability, I suppose I can just use the SNIPPET tool in Windows. Your way seemed more natural.

fF, as I recall in older versions, you could do a copy/paste into Photoshop but it's been so long that I can't guarantee that method.
Another possibility is to save the page as a PDF, bring it into Photoshop and save it out in whatever format you want.
Good luck.

Mike is correct. Just confirmed that this will work in Wood 2007. Simply, right-click on the image, copy, open Photoshop, Ctrl-N which will open a blank image the same size that has been copied, and then paste. You're done.

That's assuming I have Photoshop...which I don't :-)

Here's another way using freeware. Download Screenshot Captor. I use it all the time for screenshot captures.

https://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/screenshotcaptor/

Copy the image in Word. Open Screenshot Captor and select Restore Main Window. Under File, select "Create New blank image file". Under Edit, Select "Paste cllipboard image as new object". Then under Edit, select "Crop to Selection" Ctrl-R. At this point you can save as a png or jpg. This will work and you will also get a top notch (IMHO) screen capture utility. Good luck.

Often use Paint. Dead easy. Paint has come on a long way since it first appeared. I have it next to CorelPSP on my Task Bar.
