Tapeless Media ingest question

Ok, I have what should be a simple question.

I have some tapeless Media, in this case Sony EX1 files but they could be from a P2 card or from some other camera/media.

I have recorded numerous clips (maybe 50) onto that media. And I would like to bring them into Vegas without opening up each individual folder and dragging them in 1 by 1.

Does Vegas have a good way to do that?

Device Explorer should get the job done with EX footage assuming you have the full original folder structure i.e. from the BPAV folder down. If you have a clip split over cards you'll need to use the Clip Browser to move and join the clip.

Much obliged. I did this in my other editor because I had no idea how to do it in Vegas. This was VERY helpful!

Just be aware that by default Device Explorer will copy the media into a folder somewhere under My Documents. That's a very quick way to fill up your system disk.

Yep, saw that and corrected it. I got the media ingested, on the timeline and am now rendering.

Much appreciated.
