Tech Support

I am a newbie to video and like a dope I went and ordered a Dell with the movie studio bundle. Over at the Video Wave forum I have come to the conclusion that I have to dump the bundle. I see that mgi has a pay per incident support service but briefly browsing this site I dont see anything regarding tech support. Any info on sonic support or another product of choice (not Video Wave)? I alredy spending money twice thanks to Dell! Thanks in advance!

Good to see you over here!

VF tech support doesn't charge you, and I have always been able to get an answer, whether it be by phone or Email. I think you'll find that they're a cut above the rest.

If you spend some time reading the posts here, you'll also note that the majority of them are questions and answers about hardware setup and procedures, rather than screams of despair about "bug infestations".

BTW: Unlike the way MGI handles their forum, the Sonic Foundry Techs actually monitor this one, and will jump in when necessary!

Thanks Kcarrol! I wish they had arating system here so I could give excellent grades, but I guess a better product and support is what it's all about! More and more it looks like I'll be jumping ship to Video Factory. Thanks for all your help!
