Tech Support via phone?

Is there no way to get tech help w/o paying $100? I just bought this program and my .avi files have no sound when importing them into Screenblast 3.0. This prevents me from continuing a project which I need to get to work on, AND is the reason I purchased Screenblast.

A couple of questions first:

1) If you open your AVI using Windows Media Player, does it have sound? (This will tell us if the problem is with the file or the program.)

2) Did you by any chance capture this file from a camcorder that records onto a DVD rather than a tape? Other posters on this forum have had similar problems. Sadly, those DVD camcorders are difficult to edit from.

3) Are you importing your movie from a digital video, via firewire, or is your source tape analogue (VHS, 8 mm, etc.)?

If you can provide us with this information, I'm sure you'll find a whole bevy of very nice users and techies will come to your aid.
