Techsmith Snagit mp4

Have started to use Techsmith Snagit for screencapture to mp4. The strange is that only the sound will show in Vegas. I am used that Vegas can take any videoformat there is. It was the reason I change to it years ago. Does anyone have a solution for this? I can show the video with VLC player om my computer.

Download MediaInfo from SourceForge and post the complete file properties, also your system specs, OS Version, Vegas version, and Quicktime version.

Upload an original sample somewhere where it can be downloaded for examination ("somewhere" is not Youtube!)
mp4 tells us nothing.

Basically, the mp4 codec that SnagIt uses is played back through the Directshow engine in Windows 7, but as VFW in Windows XP. SnagIt video will show up on a Vegas timeline if you are running Windows XP, but only the audio will be seen by Vegas in Windows 7 (or 8 I assume).
