Template of 1080i

I try to encode the video to WMP9 format. But there is no 1080i template in the wmp9 encoder of Vegas. Only 720p template available. Why?

The WMP9 plug-in currently only supports progressive.

Why do you need interlaced for Windows Media Format? Typically these files are played back on a computer so rendering to progressive video is reasonable.

If you do need interlaced video in your final output, use the Windows Media Encoder 9 (free download from Microsoft).
