Can someone please direct me to plain and simple info on what the dffierent templates mean? for example, when changing Project Properties, what is HD vs HDV?
If the existing project properties show NTSC DV - is that already in High Def format? I had previously rendered my movies to standard def and burned them on DVDs. But now, I'm trying to save my High Def movie in an external hard drive for archiving in case my internal drive dies.
I want to re-render these movies in the AVCHD format and then save in the external drive.
I choose "save to hard drive";
then I chose format Sony AVC
Then what about the tempate? Do I choose AVCHD NTSC 5.1 surround? Or, one of the Blu-ray choices? and WHICH one?
Remember, I only want to archive the high def movies in an external drive, not burn them onto regular DVD or blu-ray discs yet.
