Temporarily disable quickfade on event split?

I sometimes need to split video events (that have audio attached) in cases where it is easier for me to add effects in some way. The video events will be kept right next to each other though, and in these scenarios, I don't want any kind of quick fade to be applied to the audio events at the split, so that no small dip can be heard in the sound. However, I don't want to disable quick fade entirely, as it is still useful to prevent clicking for an audio event that will actually be separated.

Going into settings and changing the quick fade length to 0, and then back to 10 later on, has become quite tedious for my workflow. Is there any way to apply a split that ignores quick fade, like with a keyboard shortcut, for example (e.g. Ctrl+S instead of just S), or could this be implemented in a future Vegas Pro update?

I'm using the latest version of Vegas Pro 16, by the way.

I don't need it, because I always zoom in at the split and do it by hand as I like.
