temporary files-default saves

I just started using Vegas Audio LE, and I've discovered that the program has been saving everything (including all the takes I thought I had deleted)in the folder where the program is stored. And, in the folder where I have my project file (.veg) stored, there is just the .veg file.

So, when I open my project, it references the .wav files just fine, but housekeeping will soon become an issue if every file I generate with the program finds a home in the program folder.

In options/preferences, the default temp file location is set to c:windows/temp, but there isn't anything there I can find.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Duh. Figured it out. I was doing takes before creating a new project and when I had something I liked, I saved, thereby created a project file. Before creating the file, the program didn't know what to do with the takes, so it put them in the program folder.
