That thread refers to a site where you can download a test file and then reder that test tile on your machine and compare the time it takes to how long it took other people to render on their machines.

What format are you supposed to be rendering that file to?? If it as uncompressed AVI looks like my computer goes pretty fast and it is just a stock Dell. 2 Min 7 Seconds

You are supposed to simply open the file and render to NTSC-DV.

You do NOT render to UNCOMPRESSED - just standard DV.

For the test I SAVE AS: *.avi ? *.mpeg2 ?
