Texas Vegas Video Users Group

Hello! Everyone,

I am in the process of starting a Texas Vegas Video user's group forum on my website. All Texas VV users are welcomed to chime in on this post and give me your input. I would like to know if a forum for Texas VV users is needed, and if perhaps we all could communicate all matters VV in the Texas region on the forum. Of course, all VV users will be invited to post on the forum. Thanks for your input.

'Hope you won't think this is too nit-picky, but the software is no longer VV (Vegas Video). It is Vegas 4.0, and abreviated as V4 by most.

Will you have meetings? Dallas or Austin? If Dallas, I'm in -- and from time to time when I'm in Austin.

I'm in Austin and would absolutely attend and participate in any Austin meetings. I have two small kids to travel to Dallas is unlikely.

Sorry for the misprint! I haven't had any sleep lately, I work mostly so things can get cloudy for me.

What I had in mind was a web forum for Texas based V4 users that have a place to share tips, ideas, tutorials and also some sort of get togethers to discuss all maters V4. I am situated way down in South Texas so I think someone else from the upper region could handle the planning for the state meetings (I could help as well).

I think we are overdue in regards to a Texas following for V4 and starting with a user group and web forum would be way cool. I sense the excitement form some of you guys and I think we can go forward and get the ball rolling. Let's continue developing this thing and feel free to toss in any ideas.

I'm even further south of GWA, in Texas City, but would participate in any Houston area happenings..

I will be working on constructing the web forum for the Texas user group. I will try to set up some sort of tutorial uploads as well. I am looking at what I can put together to on the web page that would be a great spot for resource sharing. I'll keep everyone posted on my progress. I am very excited!
