text color

when i add text to video it doesn't comes out full some parts of the video bleeds through.what can i do? i've tried copying it and inserting it twice but its still not full.HELP PLEASE

In the Text Properties tab, under where it says Text Colr, there is a slider that affects the alpha channel (opacity). Slide this all the way up, or enter 255 in the A box.

Do you put your text event on a separate track above the video? If not, do.
