Text Compositing

Hi

Just read the latest issue of Tips Tricks and Scripts and set about playing with text compositing and got it all to work excepot one thing;

I can't seem to get a drop shadow to work. Although the tick box is set nothing happens. Is this option unavailable under these circumstances or is there something I have missed?

TIA

Change the shadow color to an obnoxios bright red ,, then play with the sliders to get a feel for it. If you still dont see it , hmmmm,I dont know.

Apply the shadow on the track with the text.

Thanks risce1 & jetdv.

I cangedthe colour and it still didn't seem to make any difference so I changed the Offsets to ver high numbers. The result wasn't expected. The drop shadows were exact copies of the main text - with the parent video showing through and not the expected shadow colour.

All this is done in the Video Event FX dialogue of the text in the child track.
