Text FX

I originally posted this question on the Vegas forum but it may be better posed here...

I'm currently working on a small project whereby I have 60 consecutive text objects, that basically count down from 60 to 0.

Now, I created each of them with a slight glow and of course had to number each one individually, 60, 59, 58, 57, so on and so on........

Well, I got to the end and then decided that I didn't like the glow and then had to tediously go through each one and change the glow settings, all the time thinking, there has to be a better way....

Well, is there? Maybe a function like the "paste attributes" tool that I can apply to multiple selected media? A script possibly?

Cheers,

TeeJay

Scripts cannot set the individual settings - only presets. You have to do this process manually - one at a time.

Okay, although I don't understand what is involved in scripting, surely it would be possible to write a script that could basically paste a single text fx attribute to multiple events.....

Via scripting, you can easily have it set a specific preset. You could save a preset with the parameters you wanted and the parameters could be set on each text media. You just have one problem: ALL OF THE TEXT WOULD ALSO BE CHANGED.
