Text in sync with Video

For MS3 is there a way to have the text events move along the timeline in concert with the appropriate video event? I am making a video of a French Gothic church and with the stained glass clips I often use an indentifying text. When I adjust the video clip to change the length or transition between scenes, the text stays put and out of sync. I would like for the text event to track the video event. Is there a way to do this? I looked up locking events and it said to use the Edit/Switch command. But I could find no Switch under the Edit pull down.

You could try grouping the text event to the video event: click on one to select it, ctrl-click on the other to select it also, then press G to group them. This will probably help in some situations but it wouldn't be a complete answer. At least if you move one, the other will move with it.

Thank you!

What also seems to work is to do a "Select Events to End" then "G" on the text events; then ctrl "Select Events to End." (another "G" is apparently not needed). When I move one then all events in both the text and video tracks move in concert. Slick. Then selecting one clip and "U" ungroups both tracks.

Slick. I really appreciate the suggestion. I will keep playing with this to see if I have it right. But it seems to work.

Just a further small refinement. 1) Select a video clip; 2) Right click and select to end, 3) Hit "G" for Group 4) Seclect the relevant text event, 5) Select to End (no second "G". To undo select video clip and "U" for Ungroup. Maybe everone knows this, but I thought I would spell it out.
