text justification: stupid bug...

I work on a project with many text events and need them to be justified to left, all aligned.

When i just want to edit the vertical placement (ex.: to lower it on the sceen) , the placement became "free form", so each time i just edit the text later, all the left alignement is lost, cause the text realign itself from it's own centered registration point (instead of a left registration point, as it should be for left justified text).

This appear as an illogical, basicaly stupid behavior in text formating i never encontered elsewhere in a graphic soft. This is very bothersome in big projects.

Am i the only one?

you are referring to the vegas titler? it's complete garbage for any kind of serious titling work.

some of the stuff i do requires right-justification, with the text feeding in from the right side to the left as it's typed... i still have to do it with inscriber pro in premiere 6.5, on a win2k machine... pretty sad.
