I have a text event about 20 secs long. I type in a line of text that I want to be displayed for lets say, 5 secs, and then another line to come in right after that. My text placement is "bottom center" with 10% safety zone.

What I see happenning is that as I near 5 secs, the first line continues to move up (and I can see this in the keyframe window -- the Y coordinate of my text keeps on moving down) and this decrease happens until I reach the keyframe event where my next line begins. The text stays constant after that (i.e does not move -- presumably because there is no other line after this second one?)

Either way -- I don't want the first line to move like that. How do I get it to stay fixed? I guess I could create different text events for each line, but that's a pain because I have plenty of text in my video...
