Text track copying????

Somehow i must have pushed something wrong. every time i change the text in a text clip, it changes the text in all the text clips i have in the movie. What did i push?, How do i get back to normal?, Can anyone set me straight?
I tried clicking on all kinds of buttons but cant seem to get it back.

Are the other title events copies of the original?

I'm just pulling in a text box from the media generators tab. putting it on the time line and splitting it. HMMM maybe thats why. dont think i've split a text box. i have copyd a text box ive created and changed the text in the copy. but i havnt done what im trying now. maybe thats it?

That's why. When you split they're still all the same media clip. You have to create a new text event if you want it to be different.
