Are you trying to create fractions? Is that why you want a line between upper and lower text? If so, you'd be best just using the Alt command for your particular fraction. Although the Alt codes are know are for 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4.

Some word processors (like Microsoft Word) will create fractions automatically when you type a number then a slash then a number. You may be able to cut and paste that into the Vegas titler. If the font supports it.

As for underlining -- well, underlining is technically considered an obsolete typographical form. It's been replaced now with bold face and italic. I don't know any way to do it -- unless, again, cutting and pasting from Word works for you. It does for me.

Could you not create the underline by using the underscore on another track and moving it into position?

You can add an underling by adding a text line, creating a row of SHIFT HYPHEN and then use LINE SPACING to move them together. Not the ideal situation, but it can work.

NewBlue Titler Pro can do underlines. I think it came free with one version of Vegas 12 or 13.
