Text wont display in Preview Window

I have used Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 for a few years, but today, none of my completed projects will display text in Preview Window, and I can't get text to display in a new project either. All else works fine - audio, video, and photos.I can see my text when I click on that little icon that opens the text page.
I have not done any projects for a few months, but installed Windows 10 a few weeks ago. I downloaded the latest build of Movie Studio 11, 322, today.
Could I have pressed a wrong button somewhere, or could Windows 10 be a problem? All else works well.
After trying to fix it all day, it's driving me crazy. Any help would be very much appreciated.

What GPU do you have? Have you manually gone to the ATI or nVidia site and ensured you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. (You can also manually check using Windows Update by going to Windows Settings/Update & Security -- though Windows may be a bit behind in getting the latest graphics card updates.)

Have you ensured you have the latest version of Quicktime from Apple, per the programs' requirements?

There are some reports that the latest version of QuickTime does not play well with Win 10.

Thanks Steve. I have checked for update for NVIDIA GeForce and there is one, but try as I might, it will not download. I have asked NVIDIA for assistance, but nothing yet. I'll keep trying, and post a reply when I have something to report.
Thanks for your help.

Meantime, try a couple of different fonts.

It's possible the font you're using is giving Windows 10 fits for some reason.

Well Steve you have helped cure the disappearing text issue with your suggestion of a driver update for Nvidia, and thank you for that, but sadly now all the colour has gone from the photos, text, videos etc.....bloody hell!!!

Would you believe that the "you beaut" Windows 10 Edge browser will not allow Javascript which is required by Nvidia to enable the updated driver to download. Chrome wouldn't work either, and I had to end up using Internet Explorer. Talk about two steps forward and three back! And I am a rank amateur, so I only discovered this after much cursing and swearing!

Incidentally, I tried several different texts but none would work. I don't suppose you have any suggestions about the colour issue? My advice to anyone, based on my experience, is avoid Windows 10. I have found it slows things down, and I wonder how many more glitches I am yet to discover.

But thanks again.

Steve
Correction. You fixed it. The colour problem I mentioned was caused by me - in trying to fix the text issue, I had changed Overlay from red to green grayscale. So, I am now back to proper functioning again.

Thank you
Jim
