hello,
i search for an option to put automatic filename-text into videofiles as an effect.
it must be as effect, because i want to batch render a load of videofiles and putting a custom text on each file would be too time consuming.
maybe some plugins or scripts exist to solve my problem. i did a quick search and found nothing.

The "Text Generation Wizzard" of Vegasaur does this.

As does the "Quick Labels" tool in Excalibur.
tried both plugins and excalibur did a faster job by combining the auto creation of regions + set text events with the filename. both plugins working fine.
but both creating an extra text-track + text events which are created over regions.
i have to clean the timeline after render the clips out, which is not a great task, but its not that clean solution i thought in first.
maybe there is a labeling-plugin out there which can be put directly on. (i put the plugin just for batch-rendering, so no cleaning afterwards)
No need to create regions with Vegasaur.
Also, why do you think text added as an FX instead of a text event would be a better workflow. To mute the text track it only needs one mouse-click, deleting takes two. Bypassing or deleting the FX would not be faster or easier, imho.
