No installation necessary. If you want to use them, copy them to your hard drive somewhere. That's it.

OK, thanks! But do I copy the entire disk, or just certain file/folders on it?

That's sort of up to you to decide. From memory there's a folder of video files and a folder of still images taken from the video.
It's all just media so you can copy all of the folders and files or just what you need as there's nothing that needs to be installed as such.

If you want to use any of these then you just drag them onto the timeline as you would any other video or use them as menu backgrounds in DVDA.

I don't know if you use Media Manager Joe, but you can copy all that stuff to the HDD and have MM organize it and keep it all at your fingertips for fast, easy access.

Thanks so much! I'm starting to catch on. I did not install media manager as I read or saw somewhere that it took up system resources and interfered with preview (?). I don't know how true that is. I assume that I will copy the file to my "capture" drive, not my C drive where the programs and OS are; correct. I know it doesn't matter that much...I'm just trying to get set right the first time...and then probably change everything later anyway : )

It does take a few additional resources, but IMO it's worth it. It does NOT to my knowledge have any effect on preview.

I tend to keep a separate "data" drive where I keep all of my music, photos, loops, backgrounds... etc (along with personal documents). I just find it easier this way when I do back up images.
