As another year passes away, and before the 31st looms into view, and the 24hour Globe-Lag that gets me frustrated NOT being able to speak with me mates across ponds and oceans of Continents, I want to say:

THANKS YET AGaiN for putting up with me! . . for yet ANOTHER year too!

OK, I'll go first . . .

Highs this year:
* Moving into VP8 and seeing the take up of QUADS for Vegas

* Izotope Rx

* DeShaker Script!!! ( tell me it WAS this year John?)

Lows:
* I've missed several of our "usual" chums - Stoney's "And what are YOU doing this weekend"

* Relatives of our friends here abouts finally making their last edit/cut fade thru' white.

.. . I'll think of more and add ..

Wotz yours been? Try and stay vaguely Audio/Video/Vegas/Food . . .

Love y'all!

Graham "Grazie" Bernard

Surley you're not still up?!
But if so, Happy New Year to you my English friend.
As for highs and lows I no longer think that way.
I view life no longer as a roller coaster of peaks and plunges, but rather as a railway with good things happening on one side and not-so-good on the other.
More often than not the blance each other out.
On the good side, wife, grandson, friends and family,---oh and Vegas Pro 8.
On the bad side loss of loved ones,...and the many things I still have to learn about HD.
God bless you in '08 Graham.
Bottoms up.

Uh, Grazie, for the sake of 21st century gender equality, it should be "guyz," - we can't give everything away to the women folk, now can we? We deserve our z's too :)

As far as retroview, it's been a tough year for me overall, such as plummeting confidence in myself and ergo in my envisioned film project (that's changing for the better now, taking it slow and easy).

I must say that this forum has been one of its brighter highlights -- incl. your threads and responses to my long-winded Qs, Grazie.

Hell, many of you even helped me deal with my cataract surgeries.

Short version: I've been using BBS boards for over 10 years and have to say that my experience here has been the best, hands down. Many of you have been like patient video school teachers to me. I look forward to learning more.

So THANK YOU and HAPPY NEW to EVERYONE here!
