Once again, i really don't see what the problem is with using track volume envelopes. At worst, you will have to add a couple of nodes between songs so that you can change the volume level from one song to the next during the song that comes between them on the other track. Even then you should be able to avoid this by adjusting the volume level of the entire event, and reserve the volume envelope only for fades.

CD-A works in the same way as Vegas, in that the level change produced by pulling down the gain on an event are pre-fx. This will screw up any dynamics plugins on an event if you make event gain changes after seting up the FX.

In the case of the compressor, you could always use it's Output Gain to control the level instead.

Currysteph,

If I remember correctly, you're in Korea, right?
Whereabouts?
I started a small studio in Suwon a little south of Seoul.

Where's your studio?
