Thanks SF - for vidcap25

The enhancements (whatever they are) included in your vidcap25 complete my VV package. Earlier versions of your capture program were not working properly on my system. The sound track would inexplicably drop out during capture (especially during capture of analog to digital 8mm tapes), or, the real kicker for me, print to tape would either be jumpy or contain a noticeable glitch or two, making an otherwise acceptable video useless.

The new vidcap25 causes none of those problems on my system. I can finally begin a project and finish it all without having to go outside VV for anything.

Somewhere along the line, you also enhanced the text generator (I'm using VV version h) so that I can freely position text over the screen. Works really well.

Thanks for the improvements.

Hi,

Try to install the Video Factory demo and voila, new vidcap, text generator and effects.

Bye

Can only relate my experience, but, the Vidcap25 packaged with the VideoFactory demo works independed (oops, make that independent, LOL) of VideoFactory, is valid and legal for use whether you register the VF demo or not, and, most important of all, it really works.

I am most appreciative.

Can Vidcap25 be downloaded separately from Video Factory?

Once downloaded, you can also use winzip (or similar software) to extract just the vcap zip file thus avoiding the whole installation process...

It sure sounds like it would be a whole lot easier if SF just posted the Vidcap 2.5 release in their "updates" section. What's the deal SF?

If you uninstall the VF 2.0 demo, you lose the effects. Anybody know if you can cut them loose from VF2.0 like the capture app GG described in an earlier post ?
