The 2ndPatch of Vegaspro23?

I'm using V23b302 (FileIO Plug-ins replaced with those of b278).
I do 4k HDR10 videos.
Source material is mostly HLG from Lumix GH6 and ProRes HDR prepared in V22, some native Rec.709 files.

My HW guarantees me no crash or big issues at editing/rendering; urgent problems currently:

  • No 2nd display full preview.
  • No HDR default AP0 for CGP.
  • RAM leak in project e.g. 20min or longer.

When comes the next patch?

I have the same question... My 30 days trial was expired and i cant enjoy the features because the bugs.... So i check the forum every day but i cant find any news about a future patch or something for decide buy the new version. Many people have the same question. I hope the next months or before appear a version without the bugs for get a license.

It doesn't bother us even the patch comes weekly or monthly, especially when the advertisement announces its initial functions but not yet realized due to time shortage or something else.

I don't edit HDR (no HDR monitor although the camera is capable of HLG recording), but using the second monitor is not an issue for me with my hardware listed in my Signature below.

@Reyfox The HDR preview is broken up to now in VP23. A known issue.

I reported as V23patched to B302:
Render speed for HDR project differs quite, it seems if the 1st event uses GPU fully (e.g. a nested project file before other events) then the whole render goes up to 12fps, Else it's merely 5-7fps; both Builds so.

And this is true, for all kind of projects.
Here my preset project and Vegas settings:


Nested project doesn't awake GPU into action, but e.g. a 10bit420HEVC-HLG from my DJI. I place the HLG on the head of my preset project; its opacity is drawn to 0%:


By rendering HDR10, performance reaches around 13fps, and for SDR really quick (depends on footage). GPU usage quite well:

 

2nd report:
My graphics card has 16GB VRAM, together with virtual one there's 48GB ready for use.
The monitoring tool HWiNFO gives me yet a crazy value more than 1000GB:

This could be thanks to AMD SmartAccess Menory. So far so good.
