Hello, my consults is the following one:

I have a video captured with a DC10, which by defect has field to order in upper field first....... I want to know the best metod to use for deinterlace the video and obtaining the best image quality possible.
Also it want to know if is convenient to use progressive compression at 24fps or the common (29,97i). What is the GREAT difference??.

The video I want it to use to make a DVD and watch it in PC or TV.

Thanx..

The best image possible is NOT to deinterlace. By deinterlacing you are cutting your video resolution in half or blurring two fields to create one. Either way, the quality of the picture will suffer.
