the better way to work with VV 3.0

I wondered what are your usual ways to place and edit the video in VV. I mean, what would be the best way to simply organize the clips, place them on the timeline and set the in/out points?

How can I create a folder in the "media tool" in order to organize clips ?
When I want to put a clip in the timeline, I drag it from the media tool to the timeline and there I whatch it. How can I set the IN / OUT points efficiently ? There is a better way than just pressing "S" and delete the parts which I wont' use ?

If I drag the begging or the end of the clip with the mouse I can set the IN /OUT point too, but I can't see the IN /OUT point in the preview window, right?

Please, I would really appreciate if someone could tell me his/her usual procedure when organizing clips, placing them in the timeline, setting the IN /OUT point and so on.

Thank you !

Best Regards.

Unfortunately you can't create folders in the media pool. When i have a lot of clips, i'll usually skip the media pool and use the explorer tab instead.

For trimming, i tend to place the cursor at the in/out point first, then depending on how much i'm trimming (is the part to be trimmed displayed entirely on the screen?) i'll either split & delete or drag the end to the cursor (where it will snap). I find either method to be quite fast and easy.
