The chroma key appears with a big red X

I am using the vegas pro 18 steam edition, and i am trying to use the chroma key, that is not a 3rd party fx, so i don´t why appears the big red X, i need help because I love vegas, but the chroma key is very important for me and I dont want to use another program

Is that a watermark on the green screen video you're using? I've never seen a red X

Have you tried it on a different clip?

I just tried it in VP18, and it works. I did nothing special to activate it or turn it on.
