Just watched a great show called "The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Film Editing", on Encore cable network. interviews with Walter Murch and tons of others ,anyone else see it?
It will be Shown again on Encore west channel at 11:00 pm EST or Wed eve sometime. Great show 105 mins. of the unsung Film hero's.
Plus I didnt realize how many great movies were edited by women,or that they really dominated the editing field in the early days.
Recommend watching it if you got cable,I tivo'd it to watch again.
BTW loved Walters "Media Pool" Basicly his whole wall, with shots from the movie he was editing, plus his 1;85 HUGE monitor.
