The FX features, such as "sharpen" on Vegas 15 no longer function

I've been trying to use the FX functions in Vegas 15 that I've always used in the past, such as Sharpen and Chroma Keyer, but suddenly they're no longer functioning. The FX window opens, and the sliders and click spots move, but they have no effect. I haven't made any changes to the Vegas program or my operating system, Windows 10, since my last project. Prior to this all FX features worked fine. Any ideas? Thanks.

Split Screen button above the preview screen turned on and set to bypass?

Thanks, the Split Screen button fixed the issue. I'm not sure how that happened unless I accidentally changed the setting earlier. I also needed to update the Nvidia drivers. Thanks guys!!
