I noticed on the Aicd forum also that you'd often post on the week-ends.
Most of us realize how professional you really are.
Please Peter, most of us truly appreciate what you bring to these forums.
Unfortunately, you're a Sony rep on these forums, so you're a target. Almost everyone knows that it's not your call to make.
You probably have alot of these features ready to go, don't ya? ;-)

This is all kinda like yelling at the car designers when in fact the bean-counters have the final say in what does/doesn't go into production.

Please reconsider, for our sakes.

I too hope he reconsiders.

I don't always agree with what he has to say or his defense of Sony product development, but he has been singled out as a target and forced to defend himself when it's Sony that should be taking the heat. This is the only forum where I've seen such attacks on one of the actual software engineers.

You all can hate me if you want.... but here's what I think.....

If Peter doesn't come back, he's making a big mistake.

His presence in this forum is viable to an insider's knowledge through direct communication.

Sometimes that doesn't feel good, but it is priceless and an integral part of what makes the company work for the people who come here for information.

I'm not going to beg Peter to come back here.

I appreciate his presence, knowledge and having the opportunity to find out his insight into the many things he responds to... whether I like it or not.

He needs to come back and face the music.... JD didn't even know that Sony_PCH was an individual. He apologized more than once.....

Get over it, everyone...

Bull Shit! Although JD's and other so called 'Pros" posts are childish and selfish, JD is not stupid.

Your and other's back handed apologies are ridiculous. This forum is inundated with selfish buffoonery. Some have even made reference to the Video forum for being babies complaining and acting as spoiled whiney brats, recently this forum has eclipsed the Video "babies" at an infinite level.

Those of you (and you know who you are) that post "I want my shit and if I don't get it Sony you are this, that and the other thing" here are ridiculously embarrassing to the audio community as a whole.

Damn it! There is no excuse for your behavior, you can't justify it. Get out of your 'ME" zone.
